"The Lazios immagrated to SF from Termini Marese in the 1880's. Dominica Lazio, my grandmother, was born in SF. Her son, my father, Joseph L.Alito, was two term mayor of SF (1967-1975). Tom Lazio and his son, Lawrence Lazio, owned a restaurant and wholesale fish business in Eureka, CA."

Thomas G. Lazio ...was twice related to me: his sister was my grandmother (Domenica Lazio Alioto) and his wife was my grandfather's (Guiseppi Alito) sister (Anetta Lazio). Anetta survived Tom and now lives in Belvedere, CA."
