Santo Caito, Long Time
Resident Here, Is Dead

Santo Caito, 84, a resident of this city for many years, died at
his home 411 South Second St. W., at 1:30 a.m. today after a short
illness. For many years he had been in the fruit business. He is
survived by seven children: Mrs. Gus Gatto, Mrs. Josie Scolaro, Mrs.
Rose Dattolo, all of this city; Mrs. Wencie Corso of Iowa City; Tony,
John and Gus Caito of Cedar Rapids, besides 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in St. Patrick's Church at 9 a.m.
Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. D.J. Lenihan. Burial will be in Mt.
Calvary Cemetery.
