Mrs. Anna Caito, Dies
At The Age of 96

Mrs. Anna Caito 96, died at her home, Memorial Drive SE at noon
Monday after a short illness. She was born in Italy and came to the
United States 42 years ago, settling in Burlington. For the last 32
years she had resided in Cedar Rapids. Surviving are three sons, John
and Tony, both of Cedar Rapids; Gus of Galesburg, Illinois and four
daughters, Mrs. A. Gatto, Mrs. Rose Datalo, Mrs. Josephine Scalaro, all
of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Wencie Corso of Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held in St. Patrick's church at 9 a.m.
Wedmesday, conducted by the Rev. Father D.J. Lenihan. Burial will be in
Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The body was taken to the home of Mrs. Caito's
daughter, Mrs. Scalaro, 1021 first Ave. W. where friends may call
Tuesday afternoon and evening.
