Hello All,<\/p>\n
It was good to be with Dad, Mom, John + Helen, yesterday in Muscatine.<\/p>\n
There’s no denying Dad is failing but he continues to remain a trooper. The most noticeable changes are his weight, Cora (nurse said he is down to 158 lbs, and they are treating his infection with a specific antibiotic and trying to monitor his pain). His spirits were upbeat on Saturday, he has been eating small amounts of food (liquid diet) tires easily but was responsive. He is sporting a new haircut, Thanks to John.<\/p>\n
I want to echo what Nancy said in trying to show support for John, Mom + Helen as they face decisions that impact Dad’s health, well being, and the rest of the family. They are on the front lines and involved daily with his care + updates for him. They are doing their best to keep everyone informed and up to date.<\/p>\n
We have been so BLESSED + LUCKY to have our folks as long as we have. Also we are Blessed + Lucky to have each other.<\/p>\n
