At about 7:40 am today, Tom \u00a0P Lazio died peaceably \u00a0at Lutheran Home. \u00a0Toni Greiner and John Lazio \u00a0were with dad when \u00a0he passed . \u00a0Most of us gather yesterday at Lutheran home to celebrate his 95th Birthday.<\/p>\n
He \u00a0was not doing well when we were there. \u00a0Toni agreed to stay with him last night and Tom was going to stay during the daytime.\u00a0 Toni and John were with Dad when he died.\u00a0 He was peaceful and looked very comfortable when I arrived at the Lutheran Home.\u00a0 Pastor Vicki came into the room and said a prayer with Toni, John, Helen and Tom.\u00a0 The entire staff were very sensitive and caring!\u00a0 Julie came in last evening \u00a0and placed a rosary in Dad’s hands and he seemed to respond to her before he died.\u00a0 We have sent a “goodie basket” to the entire staff in appreciation for the excellent care they gave Dad.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Helen and John went out to Riley’s to make arrangement for the visitationa and funeral.\u00a0 They have done a great job of getting input from all of us and especially, Mom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
